If large numbers of cables and switches at electrical sites are not marked with symbols, numbers, or text to identify them, this makes their installation and maintenance extremely difficult.
For this reason, normal procedures at electrical sites require that cables be marked with printed tubes, and switches with printed labels for later identification.
The M-1 Series printers are dedicated to the task of printing ID tubes and labels much faster and more efficiently.
These printers are light and portable, you can take them to work sites and print on a variety of media (tubes, labels, or plates) that will be sharp and easy to read.
Either M-1 Series printer is capable of high-speed processing and fast output rates, 35 pcs./min for the M-1 Std.
This means improved efficiency and less time required for labelling.

The operator uses a familiar keyboard-just like one on a computer-to enter text. Maintenance is also simple. No special knowledge or training is needed to start printing immediately.

The operator has access to simple features that allow: sizing characters, 6/9 underlining, text-around borders, 2-line/segment printing, changing text/line orientation, and pitch adjustment.
PC Keyboard, LCD Display (M-1 Pro ll only)
To allow faster entry, the printers have a PC keyboard (JIS Standard). They also employ sharp, easy-to-read LCD monitors that allow the operators to confirm what they have entered.
Easy to Maintain
Ink ribbon and cutter replacement are simple procedures. Only one cutter is required - one cutter can perform both full and half cutting.

Consecutive/Serial Printing
The printers can be set to print the same text on every segment (consecutive printing). Just enter the data and the number of segments required, then start the print.
Or, the printer can be set to print numbers that increment automatically as the segments print (serial printing). No need to do separate entries and printing for each segment!

PC Interface and Internal Memory
The printer can be connected to a PC. (M-1 Pro 11 only) Data created can be sent to the printer for printing on tubes and labels.
Automatic Cutting
Each segment is partially cut automatically as it prints. The segments are easily separated by hand after they come out of the printer. The cutting operation for each job can be set for full-cut, half-cut, no cut with markings, or no cut without markings.
